Welcome to Townsville Corps
We are a relaxed, friendly church with a mission to worship Jesus and share His light and love with our community.
As a church we worship together every Sunday morning at 10am. On Thursday evenings we come together to share a meal and join in bible devotion. We would love the opportunity to connect with you so come along!
We also run lots of programs and activities throughout the year. Please see all the programs and activities listed below or on our Something for everyone page.

Worship Sundays
Sunday 10am
A vibrant worship experience for the whole family, celebrating God through Scripture, music, and Bible-based teaching.
Prayer meeting before the service at 9.20am. Everyone welcome!
Sunday School for children is held during the service (except school holidays).

Women's connect group CAMEO
Wednesday 9.30am
Come and meet each other (CAMEO) is a ladies fellowship group.
Come and enjoy a delicious morning tea, teaching and fellowship.

Thursday Night Church (TNC)
Thursday 5pm–7pm
Dinner and café style church. Everyone is welcome!

Salvos Connect (welfare)
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9.30am-11.30am
Drop in and connect with us over a cuppa and a chat.
We can assist you and provide referrals to the local Doorways Caseworker or MoneyCare Financial Counsellor, if needed.

SAGALA
Wednesday 5pm-6.30pm
Salvation Army Guarding and Legion Activities (SAGALA) is a Christian-based lifeskills program similar to Scouts and Guides. Children aged 5-17 years learn basic first aid, outdoor skills, home skills and are involved in active service to the community.

Tuesday 10am-11.30am
Fun activities for under 5s and the opportunity to meet other local parents.

Mens breakfast BLOB (monthly)
2nd Saturday of the month 8am
Blokes loving our breakfast (BLOB) is a men's breakfast group.
Join us for breakfast and fellowship. Cost is $5.

Craft morning - Memory Makers
3rd Saturday of the month 9am-1pm
A large group who comes together - all for the love of craft. Bring along your own supplies and join in the fun!
There is a cost of $10 which includes morning tea and giveaways.
Bookings are essential so please contact us.

Community Dinner
Thursday 5pm
Everyone is welcome to join our free community meal. Share good food and great company!

Monday, Tuesday 9.30am-12pm
Coffee.Cafe.Connection.
Come and enjoy a cuppa and light refreshments (no cost).
Open every week except for public holidays.
On Mondays we also have the Sewing group (18+) at 9.30am-12pm.
On Tuesdays the Bike Repair group (18+) at 10am.

Have you ever wondered what the Christian faith is all about? Do you know about God and the Bible but don't really understand what’s what?
Christianity Explained is a six lesson course based on the Gospel of Mark which helps you understand the foundations of faith in Jesus Christ.
